This custom catalogue organizes the various elements of the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s past exhibit called Irving Penn: Beyond Beauty. The booklet follows a specific grid layout that allows the artworks to dominate the focus of each spread. The strategic use of negative space with blocks of text contrasts the large, full-bleed images and creates a sense of balance throughout.

The supplemental materials consist of a donor card for the museum, a collage set of five posters based on the artworks in the exhibit, and the hand-made box used to contain all the elements. All items were printed and hand-made, with the catalogue being hand-bound.
